Impression:

Well, there really wasn’t a lot going on in this episode. Now, don’t go thinking: “What the hell is he talking about? The episodes are four and a half minutes long. Nothing ever really gets done.” That is somewhat true. However, I am using that phrase in context. This episode had less going on than usual. We may have seen the female hero again, and found out that she needs to see Alba, but the bulk of the episode lacked its usual comedic flair. The entire time was spent putting “Ninja Art” in front of a bunch of idiotic actions that don’t qualify as ninjutsu. I guess we found out that the demon king can’t easily send these twelve demons back to the demon world, damn I used the word demon a lot, but that was to be expected. They did tell us that she was quite weak which fits her character. Honestly, these are the kinds of episodes that start to kill a series like this. You rely on the ability to make an audience laugh. When that fails, what do you have left?

I have had a bad experience with a ketchup bottle before.

Current Opinion of the Show:

I am starting to lose interest in this series for a few reasons. The first is the lack of quality comedy that has become a problem recently. This is a comedic series and it must stay sharp in order to survive. The next is the fact that the season is almost over and there is no way that were will be getting closure in the new handful of episodes. With the recent misses, I don’t know if I can wait around for another season of this. Finally, there is the fact that I spend my break watching this when I could be doing something more productive with my time. That last one is a very personal issue, but I can count it because I am the one writing this. I am going to stick around for the rest of the season, but I do hope that the next few episodes can get this stale taste out of my mouth.
