I would like to thank animenewsnetwork for keeping everyone up to date on the latest news from Japan. I know that this is coming out a little late, but I definitely needed to get this article out. Date A Live has an established light novel series and the manga is ending when it was just hitting its stride. The manga has only been serialized long enough to get out the first volume and now health issues will be putting the manga on hiatus if not ending it all together. Date A Live is going to have its anime adaptation coming out in the Spring 2013 anime season and I will be covering it. This concerns me because if I like it, then I will be very disappointed if the anime only gets one season. Something similar happened with Infinite Stratos where the mangaka couldn’t continue the series and we only got one season and an OVA. Infinite Stratos got mix reviews, but it wasn’t that bad. The thing to take from this is that we should all wish Ringo the best of luck in her recovery.

I don't want to see this happen again.
