Impression:
I guess that Alba is never going to get a chance to fight again. The prison group started playing dodgeball and Januar isn’t actually injured. They pulled the whole item in the breast pocket save even though he was clearly impaled in the last episode. Things inside the cell were pretty dumb and irrelevant. I guess things were a little better on the other end. Februar has to take on two soldiers and a hero which could be pretty tough. Rudolf feels conflicted because fate is making him fight a loli, but Hime-chan informs the old pervert that Februar is actually at least two hundred years old. Obviously, this reignited the fire in Rudolf’s soul. I thought that the whole loli thing would be the worst thing that we saw, but when Hime-chan told Ares that the demon/witch uses a tentacle as a weapon, Ares claims that is hot. Pedophiles, masochists, and chicks that are into tentacles. I can tell you with great certainty that I did not expect these things to come up when I first checked out this series. Oh well, there should be some more fighting next week.
Current Opinion of the Show:
I can say that this show is starting to stabilize. Aside from the beginning of the episode, we were back to the good old days of quick laughs and minimal plot progression. Well, you can’t really do much in four and a half minutes, but I do expect something for my time. If we keep getting stuff like this for the rest of the season, then I will consider it a decent short series. There really isn’t a lot to say about a series like this, but I am looking forward to seeing these new characters get more screen time.
