This was actually announced about a week ago and I just haven’t gotten around to talking about it. Well, we have some big news in regards to a big game. Injustice: Gods Among Us seems to be what we all wanted. Well, unless your favorite characters didn’t make the roster. The character roster may be the most talked about thing when it comes to this game. Why are there so many Batman characters? When are the DLC characters coming out? Who are the DLC characters? How can I get all of the crazy skins that I see people using? Well, I can’t answer that last one, but the rest of those questions have some easy answers. Batman is a big part of DC and people recognize the characters. I think there will be a DLC character announced once a month between May and August. The DLC characters will be revealed on the Injustice YouTube channel and we already know who the first one is. Lobo is an interesting pick. I don’t know if we needed another power character, but Lobo is definitely important enough to make the cut. The Main Man is a bounty hunter who is at the top of his field. The guy has tussled with guys as tough as Superman and his character is definitely going to fit in with the dark theme that Injustice has going on. The biggest question regarding this choice seems to be the damn censor at the end of the video. Come on guys. They won’t censor it in the game.

We could use some more Teen Titans.

Now that we have seen the initial roster and played through the story, we have some more facts to back up our hypotheses regarding possible DLC characters. First off, there is the question of whether or not they will keep the sides equal in number. There are currently fifteen heroes and fifteen villains in the game and the fact that the number of DLC characters is an even one would suggest that we may get two additions to each side. Assuming Lobo is a villain, we are looking at two heroes and one more villain. I would like to focus on the heroes for a second. Does anyone else think that we may see more Teen Titans? They actually played a pretty big role in the story as far as I am concerned. Obviously, choices like Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Aqualad, and Speedy seem unlikely. They are prominent characters, but they would feel almost like clones of their more adult counterparts. However, Starfire and Beast Boy aren’t bad choices. Am I latching onto my love of the Teen Titans cartoon a little too much? Of course, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t quality heroes. It may be nice to see some of the popular heroes from the New 52. Swamp Thing and Animal Man could come as a pair. I would love that because I am really liking their stories. Some of you may be screaming for Martian Manhunter because he is a very prominent league member and the guy even shows up in the background of the watchtower. I don’t want to burst any bubbles, but I feel like a character that was already a part of the game may not see the big stage anytime soon. I may be completely wrong and they are going to throw in Martian Manhunter and Black Canary. Canary was mentioned right before the alternate universe Flash approached Ollie. Both are great choices. All I know is that I am glad that I have the season pass which gives you access to al four characters.
