Someone is excited.

It was announced on Friday that Date A Live will be getting a second season. The project has just received the green light, so don’t expect it to come out in the near future. Next year is a definite possibility, but I would not be opposed to seeing it this year. Date A Live was a very popular member of the Spring 2013 anime season and Funimation picked it up for a simulcast. For those of you that did not check it out, I definitely recommend it to anyone that enjoys a fun romance. The season ended on a cliffhanger with a lot of questions left unanswered, so this is great news for fans. Don’t be too down about the wait because there is an OVA for the series that is set to come out at the end of this year. I know that I am looking forward to more from Date A Live.
