Impression:

Although it skipped a week, Haiyore! Nyaruko-san did come to an end at the same time as everyone else. Were some people upset that we only got twelve episodes? Sure, but the difference between twelve and thirteen episodes in a series like this isn’t that big of a deal in my opinion. Well, things did go down, so let’s get to it.

The banshin project finishing did in fact mean that Nyaruko, Kuuko, and Hasuta had to go back to space. This got pretty extreme when their boss said that staying on Earth without permission would result in them becoming criminals. This is the strictest illegal alien policy that I have encountered. Well, everyone decides to visit the dreamland in order to check out the banshin project. You have to fall asleep with an odd key under your pillow in order to get there because it is the dream world. They run into some odd-looking people, but saying that in this context is kind of dumb. It turns out that the robots are indeed finished and they are about to get tested in a combat situation. That is where the plot to stay on Earth begins. Honestly, this was pretty expected.

The girls and Hasuta decide that they should offer their services and be the ones to conduct the combat test for the banshin. Obviously, they plan on destroying it. Even if they could rebuild the robot, the project is a failure if it cannot fight against the people who are currently in charge of protecting the dreamland. The test starts and the robot immediately loses control. It is after Mahiro and the reason behind that is the fact that the artificial intelligence for the robot is based on Earth’s mightiest protector. Who is this proud deity? Nyaruko of course. Yeah, the robot loves Mahiro and they destroy it. Everyone gets to stay because the robot is weak and they can’t use the current operating system. Things end with Mahiro finally eating something that Nyaruko cooked because it was made with regular ingredients. There wasn’t really any actual development between the two, but the story is not over.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Current Opinion of the Show:

The finale was exactly what I expected from this anime. Let’s take something that is a common issue in plots out there. Alright, now let’s get somewhat serious because we all know that Mahiro doesn’t hate Nyaruko. Now, let’s take that common problem and give it a common solution. In this case, you can’t be replaced if you no longer have a replacement. Then, make it ridiculous. I’ll be honest with you guys. I really enjoyed this. Why? I will never be able to properly explain the reasons for this series entertaining me. I just won’t. I am not sure how large the audience for this series is, but I do know that it has pretty much stayed true to its style since day one. That is something that I can appreciate when it comes to a series that I don’t necessarily love, but is a fun watch. I am not the biggest fan of the main character, but I would say that he isn’t the most popular character. The protagonist in a harem series is rarely a likable character. It isn’t even because of jealousy like it is in the anime when other guys don’t like him. It is because they are usually bitches.

This series gives us some pretty tame stuff in amongst all of the sexual situations. I consider a pat on the head to be fairly innocent. I pat a lot of people on the head, but that is because the girls that I know are usually much shorter than me. I guess this is the time when everyone questions whether or not a series is going to be continued. Kakumeiki Valvrave and Date A Live already got season two announcements. As far as I know, there has not been an official announcement for a third season of this series, but I would say that I do expect one. Nyaruko is pretty popular and we already got a lot of stuff animated. Two seasons and some side stories are already out there. I do suggest that you try out the side stories because I thought that they were fun. Oh well, I am looking forward to more from this series because I just can’t stop watching it.
