It truly is a great day to be a Steins;Gate fan.

During Anime Expo on Friday evening, publisher JAST USA officially announced that they have licensed the original Steins;Gate visual novel for release in North America. It was also confirmed that the original Japanese voice tracks would be included with the release. No word if the English cast will dub the game, but it looks like the game will likely be unaltered from it’s original form.

The publisher also announced several upcoming PC titles that they will also be releasing in English: Little Witch Romanesque, Shiny Days, Lightning Warrior Raidy III, the My Girlfriend is the President fan disc, Sweet Home and Sumeragi Ryōko no Bitch na Ichinichi.

Rumors of an official English localization have been swirling ever since a fan translation group was contact by JAST USA early last year about a possible deal to obtain the license and release it in the US. The game had originally been released in Japan for the Xbox 360 back in 2009 and has been ported to PC, PS3, PSP, PSVita, and iOS.

No official release date yet, but the game is expected to come out later this year for the PC.
