Impression:
I really like where this show is going. Go On does a great job of showing stereotypical coping methods in a comical way without taking away from the fact that these people are going through some serious emotional distress. Sonia is a character played by Sarah Baker who is focused on heavily in this episode. Sonia is dealing with the death of her cat and, as one could expect, she is the crazy cat lady. Apparently she is starting to deal with her issues without the aid of cats, but Ryan is not the best of influences. We get to see Ryan undermining Lauren the group leader by suggesting that people take action instead of attacking their issues. The real kick about this episode is that you get to see a self-centered Ryan realize that he is both unwanted by his overworked assistant and is seen as the cause of Sonia’s recession. Episode two was nice, but not as strong as the first. We saw some good Matthew Perry and a crazy cat lady, but there is not a lot to say aside from that seeing as how this is only the second episode.
Current Opinion of the Show:
I still like the show, but I am looking for more in terms of the comedic quality. I am looking forward to episode three because I know that not every episode is going to be killer.
