Impression:

If you hate Himeka, then I cannot be friends with you. I mean, I am still a supporter of Masuzu, but this new girl is adorable. When Himeka was described as Eita’s ex-girlfriend I was confused because of how Eita hates love. Then, we found out that they had no prior connection, so I was confused as to why she was described as the ex-girlfriend. However, when Eita told Himeka to cover up her delusional past life connection to Eita and she chose to label herself as an ex-girlfriend, I thought that was brilliant. If the past life thing was true, then it makes sense. Things got interesting when we learn that Himeka was tired of this cookie cutter lifestyle that has been shoved upon the masses. The world is gray, the people are gray, and if you are not careful then you yourself shall become gray as well. However, the passion of Burning Fighting Fighter is anything but gray. Eita is the pillar of hope for Himeka and that is why she is drawn to him. Well, that is nice and all, but Eita is pretty much spoken for. Chiwa was kind of a non-factor in this episode, but that will happen in a harem because you can’t give all of the girls screen time in each and every episode. However, Masuzu got her time to shine in the end. Mana rolls on up again to take back her sister and Eita is not too happy regarding that. Then, when the young lady harasses Himeka, our protagonist can no longer simply voice his concerns. I guess Eita won’t be known for fighting in real life because he once again gets beaten up and this time it is by a single body-guard, but we get our classic main character speech that gets to the “villain” in this scenario. Predictably, Masuzu doesn’t leave and she gets pretty flirtatious with Eita after he tells her that he didn’t want her to leave. That is nice, but some of you may be asking where the hall monitors were. I will now let you know that this episode used a classic Marvel movie strategy because there was some post credit action going on. The now four member strong club was planning a summer trip, but Ai is not having any of that shit. Is it safe to say that the harem has assembled?

I can't handle these wyvern stories.

Current Opinion of the Show:

Time has only continued to confirm that this may be one of the strongest harems that I have ever encountered. Himeka is definitely living up to the standard that Masuzu and Chiwa have put up and that preview makes Ai look pretty promising. Is anyone else glad that Eita isn’t stereotypically good at physically fighting for the girls? I am kind of tired of random high school guys being able to take on groups of guys and professional bodyguards single-handedly. However, you can’t really say that he is bad at defending the ladies because he makes sure that he stands up for them. Noble enough I guess. Well, I think we are all looking forward to seeing Ai next week.
