A lot of things happened this week in the movement. The Twitter campaign is as strong as ever, both shows have seen some very interesting developments, and we found out one of the reasons that Green Lantern the Animated Series is getting cancelled. I didn’t say that everything that happened was good. As a quick reminder to everyone, the campaign will not be ending next week. A lot of people have been asking whether or not the Symbiosi movement would be having its finale alongside our shows next week, but that is not the case. Rome wasn’t built-in a day and we won’t get our shows back if we let up now. People didn’t give up when Family Guy and Futurama got cancelled and neither will we.
Worldwide once again. We hit number three on the world rankings during this past week’s Twitter campaign, but I still think that we can do better. Let’s strive for number one in the world for this week’s new hashtag #HeroesNeverDie. We have the next official hashtag, so I will go over the rules for this week once again: #1). Use the hashtag #HeroesNeverDie, #2). Use the hashtag on Saturday only, #3). Use only one hashtag in your tweets, #4). Support the shows in any way that you can, #5). Please mention Young Justice and Green Lantern the Animated Series more directly in your tweets while avoiding tagging them(#GLTAS and #Young Justice are not what we are looking for). Once again, try to be respectful in your tweets so that we will look like a serious group and not a bunch of angry COD fans. Keep up with the news during the week on yjfanvids. Things are going well so let’s not lose steam.

Well, now that you are back from visiting that link, I know that you have even more ways to support our shows. It is hard work saving something and telling stores to carry the Green Lantern the Animated Series toys is more important than you may think. When we attempted the HeroesforHeroes campaign, people found out that it was nearly impossible to track down official Green Lantern the Animated Series toys. Apparently, due to the inability to move product from the Green Lantern movie, many stores are too afraid to carry the toys from our beloved cartoon. Some of us may think that it makes no sense because they represent two totally different things, but anyone that knows marketing must understand that it is far too risky to invest in something that, to a third-party, has proven to be a failure. The lack of merchandise revenue for an admittedly expensive CGI show is at least part of the reason for the show not returning next season. That is very unfortunate. I hated that Green Lantern movie and it is so bad that it has ruined things years after its box office flop. So we really need to encourage stores to carry the official toys. Young Justice doesn’t have the same issue and no news regarding its possible hardships exists at this time. I hate to pile things on, but fans of the DC Nation short Amethyst may have noticed that it ended this week. I enjoy the shorts and Amethyst was my favorite so I am sad to see it go.
