Check out the scheduling news here!
I know that I have said this a lot recently, but I need to credit The World’s Finest for getting out the important news. Teen Titans Go! is going to premiere on Tuesday April 23 at 7:30 pm (ET/PT) I guess I have a reason to watch Cartoon Network on Tuesdays again. A good number of the Teen Titans cast members will be making a return including the voice actors for the entire team. That, along with the fact that the old opening theme will be making its return, is helping Teen Titans Go! become quite the blast from the past. The story will be functioning differently because it will focus on the teenage antics rather than the heroic efforts of our heroes. I wasn’t hoping for a comedy when I was wishing for Teen Titans to come back, but I will take what I can get. I am already very invested in these characters. The show, which was originally thought to be the second half of a new DC Nation will still appear on Saturday mornings. The Tuesday night episodes will rerun on the weekends as a part of DC Nation. Wait a second…
If Teen Titans Go! is supposed to replace Young Justice, then why does it get a primetime slot? I do not want to take anything away from Teen Titans Go! because I am a big fan of all DC cartoons. However, could you at least treat the time slot with some respect? Airing the primetime rerun in what was once the primary slot of a major show just seems like an insult. It makes me feel like Young Justice didn’t have to be cancelled at all. At least when I thought that Teen Titans Go! needed that time slot, I thought that it would be of good use to the other teen hero team. I just hate the fact that this is how Young Justice is being replaced.

While I didn’t like the child nature of the show the plot for each episode was very grutty amd dark. And the style of the episodes were very cool..
