The parody continues in this episode. Even though things are way too sexual in weird ways, that is what will keep me watching this series. I don’t know about you, but this is one of the best parody concepts that I have ever come across. People need to start taking notes.

Is no one noticing this yet?

Well, everyone decided to hang out in Blanc’s corner of the world today. Neptune, Nepgear, Noire, and Uni decide that it is a vacation day. Vert is already there and everyone besides Blanc decide to go to the new theme park. It is called Super Retro Land and it is a look back at old Nintendo stuff. Coins, pipes, mushrooms, turtles, and tetris blocks are everywhere. Who doesn’t enjoy that? Things looked fun, but we weren’t going to have a normal trip to the amusement park. Ram and Rom got kidnapped by some crazy pedophile which was followed by a bunch of idiocy. The goddesses choose to send out a search party instead of initially going out themselves. Then, some idol shows up to harass Blanc. You would think that the goddess would be able to hold her own, but a distressed state has crippled her and some bad press was thrown out to the public. Everything does work out in the end because this is that type of anime. Vert and Blanc beat up the pedophile at two different spots. Also, Noire takes out the accomplice, but neither party is captured. That seems like a major lapse in judgement to me. Something gets stolen from Blanc and no one seems to care that things are going wrong in the various lands.

Little girls can be anything because this is an anime.

Current Opinion of the Show:

I am so close to loving this series. The parody is entertaining and the art is nice. I want more from the fight scenes, but I can imagine it evolving as the series progresses. There is an interesting story developing in the background that should make for some good entertainment. The only problem I have is the sexual stuff. Some is fine. They are going to make jokes about insecurity regarding breast size. I can live with that. There will be creepy enemies like that pedophile with the odd speech pattern. You have to accept that. What I can’t stand is stuff like the turtle attacking Naptune in this episode and the slimes assaulting four characters in the previous one. Can we not go that far. I complain about fan service a lot, but it is something that is going to happen. I just think that this series in particular goes too far. That may be an attempt to appeal to a specific audience. Honestly, I don’t care for that audience. It is taking time away from better things. I have to watch this series with my back to a wall and hide it like I am doing something wrong. It just gets annoying.

Let’s talk about how stupid the goddesses are. I can understand Vert and Blanc blindly beating up the big guy. He just seemed like some random creep. The issue here is with Noire and that second person. She clearly stated that someone else put them up to it. Did they ever think that such a statement could imply that bad things are in the works? Maybe they should have captured this enemy instead of sending them flying. I wouldn’t care so much if the goddesses hadn’t been at war for so long. I assume that one learns about the value of information and holding prisoners when war occurs. I doubt that anyone can convince me that their wars were more peaceful because the goddesses are strong and I saw a lot of armed guards at Blanc’s place. This isn’t Dog Days. You can shake off peaceful protest like the one in Planeptune, even though it is probably part of a greater scheme, but the kidnapping thing is an issue. I still like the story and all, but that was eating at me. Having said that, it is nt the biggest deal in the world. I made it sound worse than it really is. I am just waiting on the villain(s) to be officially introduced.
