Impression – Senyuu. 2, Episode 11

Senyuu. 2

Impression:

Are characters allowed to die in a gag anime? I have an even better question. Are characters allowed to die outside of drama anime? We have watched characters cheat death more often than I cheated off of my friends in high school. I was smart enough, but I was fairly lazy.

I kind of wanted him to die.

Things were fairly interesting. Everyone was in shock due to Alba’s sudden death and that almost got Ross killed. Luckily, Foifoi stepped in and saved the guy. Unfortunately, Foifoi had no follow-up because Ross destroyed his weapon in a previous fight. What ended up saving everyone including Alba? Ross, or Creasion at this point, used his magic to turn back time. This may have saved Alba and company for now, but the release of energy did wake up Ruki’s grandpa. That will have to wait because Creasion is about to fight Dezember. Nevermind, that fight was over before it started. Now that the demon king is already awake, Creasion has no qualms with using his full power. I can’t wait to see Ruki’s grandpa.

I don’t even care about the animation budget because that is good stuff.

Current Opinion of the Show:

I am definitely enjoying this series. It definitely feels like a lot is getting done in the latter half of the season and that was really necessary. As far as the actual story goes, I can’t see Ruki’s grandpa being a bad guy. I honestly think that the only thing that kept Creasion from using his powers was his fear of ripping apart the planet with the presence of too much magical energy. Will this series be over by the end of the season? I don’t think so. Having said that, I don’t know where they would go from here. If they resolve things with the former demon king, then things should be settled. Oh well, I will always welcome more Senyuu. into my life.

I bet he and Creasion are friends.
