Impression:

I guess that I should have seen this coming. The very first episode gave us a treaty that stopped the war between the four great nations of this world. However, it hasn’t crossed my mind since then that another war could break out. Well, it is about to because a new nation has formed and they want to proliferate adult goods throughout nations.

A line in the sand has been drawn.

If it wasn’t obvious enough already, P-ko is definitely the source of energy that Plutia is looking for. A new nation has been formed on R-18 Island which means that the goddesses stupidly overlooked the giant canons in the last episode. Who is running this island? The transvestite that now claims a bit of diplomatic immunity and the social activist that doesn’t want to go through all of this. Oh yeah, and P-ko who has become a new goddess. Little Wolverine has caused quite a bit of trouble for the goddesses because she is the representative of a nation that has basically declared war on the rest of the world. What are the demands? Either allow R-18 Island to export an unlimited amount of adult goods to the four major nations of the world or go to war with them. That is big talk for such a small country, but this group of people should not be underestimated. They have access to a goddess that seems to be much stronger than meets the eye. Also, this organization is pulling the strings a little too well around here.

Current Opinion of the Show:

Things are finally getting interesting. I assume that war is going to break out, but it might not be your simple power struggle. The goddesses have seen a decline in their popularity and there are activists out there that are calling for a system that does not utilize goddesses. What could this mean? Well, we could have anti-war protestors out there. They may not want to see the goddesses bullying a small nation just because they wish to export their goods. Is this a question of common decency? That is what the people who are for the war will say, but I can definitely see things getting complicated. Also, the goddesses may be conflicted about the war because they will have to fight P-ko. Given, that can all change once they find out that she has been brainwashed, but that has yet to happen. What do I expect from this war? Not a lot of fighting in all honesty. This isn’t the kind of series that would give us that.

What I really want to know about is the organization that is pulling the strings during this whole thing. They have access to a lot of money, odd things that can brainwash people, and knowledge regarding other dimensions and ways to turn people into goddesses. It seems as though this secret organization is a little too powerful. Would the goddesses be familiar with the people in charge? Are these people from the other dimension? Will we meet them before the season is over? I can’t answer any of those questions, but I don’t think that we will see them before the end of the season. Why is that? Well, I don’t think that things will progress quickly enough in all honesty. Also, they will probably want to milk this series for all it is worth by giving us another season. America has already seen three video games for it. I just hope that they don’t bank on three seasons because we may never get to see it. What do I want to see before this season comes to an end? I would be happy with this whole P-ko thing being over. That is all I really expect at this point.
