Impression:

You know what sucks? When you think a girl is interested in you and it turns out that they scoff at the fact that you even considered that to be a possibility. Nibutani’s first trip to the club room raises more questions than answers with her odd reaction to Dekomori’s book and an impromptu request to visit Yuuta’s house. Luckily, distracting Rikka and Dekomori is quite simple so Yuuta and Nibutani will not get interrupted during her visit, but this is no ordinary visit. Once the two get to his place, Nibutani waits for Yuuta in his room and he returns to find chaos. The mature idol of Yuuta’s class is frantically searching our main character’s room for Dekomori’s book. Apparently the good girl act was a facade and Nibutani is actually in the middle of the same reputation rehab as Yuuta. Known as Mori Summer, Nibutani had Chuunibyou and decided to attend a far off high school for a clean slate. The Mabinogion is actually a collection of things that Nibutani put online during middle school and she wants all records of her old ways erased. The book gets burned right in front of Dekomori, but she apparently has the entire thing saved and has made multiple copies of the collection. Frustrated, Nibutani has to agree to Yuuta’s suggestion of staying in the club until she can acquire everything she needs. Nibutani’s character reminds me of Ami from Toradora which is both good and bad. Good because Ami was my favorite love interest for Ryuuji in Toradora. Bad because Ami was my favorite love interest for Ryuuji in Toradora.

A scary yet necessary place.

Current Opinion of the Show:

I guess we are starting to see our main cast of characters because I doubt that the club will be much more popular than it is right now. I can’t really say that I like Nibutani at the moment but, because of the fact that I can see some Ami in her, I can see myself really liking her character moving forward if she becomes more than what she is now. We learn a very valuable lesson in this episode when they point out the fact that if you don’t want something getting out, you must avoid it from getting onto the internet. The internet is a scary place, but I need it in my life. Having more characters if fun and next week looks t be a good one.
