This is a fun little manga.

Tonari no Seki-kun is a series that many of you may not have heard of. The series revolves around a girl named Yokoi that ends up sitting next to Seki. Seki seemes like a quiet student, but that assumption is due to his ability to have fun unnoticed. This is a series that I have been reading because it is a nice breather in my regular lineup. Honestly, I never thought that it would get an anime adaptation, but worse series have gotten to that point. Due to the nature of the manga, which is a quick look at Seki’s odd behavior, I would assume that this will be a short series. Not in terms of number of episodes, but length of episodes. Expect a weekly dose of humor in five-minute doses. The manga is not yet out in the United States, but you can check out the scans if you need to read it before devoting anime viewing time to the story. I am looking forward to it because I always love seeing a series get animated.
