Impression:

Kou decides that it would be best to leave the bridge because that way everyone else may be able to keep their homes. However, Nino does not want to lose Kou and convinces him to stay. With this new-found conviction, Kou decides to use his company to compete with his father. Things are going well until his contractors find out that Kou is in a fight with his father’s company which holds a ridiculous amount of power in the corporate world. Things get cut down as the village is running out of options to save their home. Stella is knocking out workers, the contractors have cut off talks, and Kou seems to have an issue. When he attempts to call his father, Kou gets through to anything but him. Seeing the struggle to save the village was very interesting. We get to see the power that the corporate world has over everyone which seems unfair to those that are not a part of it. An interesting social satire that I find very enjoyable to see in an anime series.

Do not trust a contractor.

Do not trust a contractor.

Current Opinion of the Show:

I am really enjoying where things are going. We are seeing Recruit begin to accept the life that he was originally forced into and the extent to which he will fight to protect it. I am looking forward to seeing how this gets resolved because we have not really gotten a chance to meet Kou’s father yet and I believe that will be an important part of this.
