Impression:

Well, another guy is finally getting some screen time. Isshiki is the only guy that we have seen Yuuta talking to in the series and her now gets his own episode. Isshiki receives a mysterious love letter and he is convinced that it is from Nibutani. In order to dispel the delusions that Isshiki has regarding Nibutani’s personality, Yuuta brings his friend to the club room to see the class idol arguing with Dekomori. After the meeting, Isshiki drops his notebook which has a list in it that ranks the girls in the class in order of appearance. This becomes a major issue because of the fact that such a list is very offensive and cannot be allowed to exist without punishment dealt out to the party responsible. Obviously, none of the boys will admit that they took part in the list’s creation because it will destroy your reputation moving forward. Isshiki takes a leap of faith and takes full responsibility for the list and he must shave his head as a symbol of atonement. The process of shaving his head results in a very bromantic moment between Isshiki and Yuuta. Even though Isshiki’s reputation with the girls will never be the same, he still goes to the meeting place described in the love letter only to be stood up. However, the boys of the class greet him as a hero. I honestly felt that this episode was unnecessary for the most part. I am not a fan of Isshiki and I don’t see any of the events from this episode mattering moving forward. I will say that Touka’s invitation for Yuuta to come along for her family trip made me very happy though.

Current Opinion of the Show:

I was honestly not impressed by this week’s episode. One off week will not damage my opinion of a series all that greatly, but I do expect more moving forward. Even though Isshiki got his own episode, I don’t really see his character becoming important moving forward. I may be wrong, but I see him acting as Yuuta’s bro in times of minor need at the most. I want to see some more Dekomori soon and I am very much looking forward to this vacation episode.
