Well, the episode started with a completely different tone than the one it ended on. I guess it was pretty funny ow Shirayosha and Izayoi were discussing the artistic value of Kurousagi’s inability to give people an up skirt moment. However, their seriousness was met with much derision from those around them. Alright, that is it for the humor. Unfortunately, You decided that she would not bring a partner with her in the finals of her game which lead to her surrendering to the representatives of the Will-O-Wisp Community. The Jack-O-Lantern has a very deep conversation with You afterwards about how she should not feel bad about relying on others. Communities are there to support each other. That nice feeling didn’t last very long because the demon lord decided to strike. It is the Piper of Hamelin and the game was introduced by black Geass Rolls falling from the sky. Everyone must participate and the “good guys” must disprove the legend or find its secret in order to win. The demon lord must make everyone else submit or die in order to obtain victory. Of course Izayoi jumps the gun and attacks one of the demons without any knowledge. Shirayosha is being sealed on purpose in order to keep the power level of the communities as low as possible because, to our knowledge, there are only three demons currently on the offensive. Izayoi has confronted one, Asuka is already being taken down by the piper, and the most powerful demon is facing off with Sandora and Leticia. The piper has taken control of all of the lower level people in the area and is the person who attacked Asuka in the last episode. Obviously, Asuka wants this power, but she does not seem ready for this altercation. Izayoi didn’t get a lot of screen time, but he did prove that he was smart once again. The thing that should be taken away from this initial altercation is the fact that making Sandora the new floor master wasn’t that big of a mistake if one at all. The little girl showed off some major fire power that I was not expecting. With the area beneath in chaos, things are getting pretty intense.
Current Opinion of the Show:
I am really excited for the rest of this season. We are finally getting a big time showdown that should exhibit the abilities of more than just Izayoi and that is pretty exciting. Hopefully, Izayoi won’t be ridiculously over powered this time around. I won’t hate it if the communities win and Izayoi is a big part of the victory, honestly that is the only way things could work out, but I just can’t see an effortless take down of the demons. The thing that I am most looking forward to is the battle between the piper and Asuka. I refuse to believe that she is down for the count and we all know how much she wants that piper gift.
