Impression:
I guess that aliens are the explanation for everything nowadays. It is because of that, that only one major thing happened in this episode. I would say that I wanted a full-length episode if it wasn’t for the fact that I don’t care right now.
Remember how the continent of Mu was destroyed by Levia-san in an earlier episode? If you do, then you also remember that they got too arrogant with their technology and had to be taken down. Apparently, an alien is responsible for giving them that technology and also giving Muromi her shells. We knew that one of the shells was a cellphone, but we just found out that the other one is a compact that can hold items in a pocket dimension. They didn’t specify that it was a pocket dimension, but it sure seemed that way. The alien guy ends up making a cellphone for Yeti and a tracker for Harpy. The alien turns out to be a robotic pervert and that is basically the episode.
Current Opinion of the Show:
I am still not impressed by this series. Houchuu Otsuka voices the perverted alien. That makes a lot of sense, but I wonder what a big time voice actor like him is doing as a part of this series. Things happen I guess. I don’t know why they refuse to use Takkun more often in this series. He is a main character and the straight man is necessary for this style of comedy. I know that I say this every week, but I will not stop until it is no longer a problem. I know that they want to let you see the other characters, but that doesn’t mean you can’t bring Takkun along for the ride. I guess that this has to have an audience if this got to the anime stage, but I just don’t see it. I am ready for this series to be over.
